It's Official!
Flint Architects held a "Business After Hours" event on August 20, 2009. The Lombard Chamber made a certificate presentation and had an official ribbon cutting to welcome our new business.
Over 50 people were in attendance and
a great time was had by all. |
Flying High in Lisle!
For a second year, Flint Architects co-sponsored a hot air balloon at the Lisle Eyes to the Sky Festival held in July. Serena’s Song was the first FAA approved, handicapped accessible, hot air balloon built in 1985. It was named after the owner’s daughter who was born with special needs.
SEASPAR of Downers Grove coordinated the “free” rides given at the local festival. |
Sharing Knowledge!
Flint Architects completed a summer internship program in 2009 with our participant returning to college. During the 2009-10 school year, we engaged in a mentoring program with Fenton High School in Bensenville, Illinois, working with young students interested in pursuing architecture. Our firm is collaborating with Glenbard School District 87’s Business Education Council allowing a student to job shadow/intern for the semester. |
